Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician in Naperville, IL, to join the Sterile Processing Department on the day shifts. The role is full-time (40 hours) with a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule and rotating weekends/holidays.

Candidates need GED/high school, CBSPD or IAHCSMM preferred, and about two years of sterile processing or OR instrument experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• About 2 years of sterile processing or OR instrument experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup procedures.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas and ensure accurate labeling by department.
