Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. You will perform sterilization and decontamination to ensure instrumentation is ready for patient care, and maintain supplies and equipment.

This role requires high school diploma, English fluency, and CSC certification or within one year, with a preferred one year experience in sterile processing. We offer rotation shifts and a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Able to communicate in English fluently (written and verbal).
• Certified central service technician or certification acquired with in one year.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Responsibilities

• Performs sterilization and decontamination procedures to ensure quality Instrumentation is provided for patient care.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for use in patient care.
• Monitors inventory to ensure that patient needs are met.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
