AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Sterile Processing/OR Support staff member to monitor and maintain surgical supplies and assist in the SPD and Case Cart Department. You will work in a fast-paced OR environment, ensuring inventory accuracy and instrument readiness for scheduled procedures.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and maintains adequate levels of surgical supplies and instruments.

• Assists with lending/borrowing of products with other institutions as needed.
• Keeps instruments and supplies organized and stored; reports issues to Manager.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe OR environment; participates in in-service meetings.

Job Description:

Monitors and maintains adequate levels of surgical supplies and instruments. Communicates daily instrument needs with Sterile Processing staff. Picks and prepares instrumentation and supplies needed for scheduled surgical cases. Utilizes inventory management systems to track instruments and supplies. Unloads and stocks sterilized instrument sets in designated locations. Assists with the lending and borrowing of products and instruments with other institutions as needed. Ensures all instruments and supplies are properly organized and stored. Reports supply issues and provides suggestions for inventory management to the Manager. Participates in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in the OR. Attends mandatory in-service meetings and continuing education for professional development. Provides technical support to OR staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:

$16.30 - $29.31
