AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a Sterile Processing professional to monitor and prepare surgical instruments, communicate needs to Sterile Processing staff, and assist with inventory management to support daily OR operations.

Requirements include a High School diploma and 1+ year in sterile processing or supply, with strong communication and organizational skills; BLS preferred. Full-time, day shift in Ocala, FL, with a pay range of $16.30–$29.31 per hour and comprehensive benefits from day one.

• 1+ sterile processing or supply experience
• BLS certification preferred
• Knowledge of OR procedure types

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain adequate levels of surgical supplies and instruments.
• Communicate daily instrument needs with Sterile Processing staff.
• Prepare instrumentation and supplies for scheduled surgical cases.
• Utilize inventory systems to track instruments and supplies.
• Unloads and stocks sterilized instrument sets in designated locations.
• Assist with lending/borrowing of products and instruments as needed.
• Maintain organized, clean and safe OR environment.
• Attend in-service meetings and continuing education for professional development.
• Provide technical support to OR staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Monitors and maintains adequate levels of surgical supplies and instruments. Communicates daily instrument needs with Sterile Processing staff. Picks and prepares instrumentation and supplies needed for scheduled surgical cases. Utilizes inventory management systems to track instruments and supplies. Unloads and stocks sterilized instrument sets in designated locations. Assists with the lending and borrowing of products and instruments with other institutions as needed. Ensures all instruments and supplies are properly organized and stored. Reports supply issues and provides suggestions for inventory management to the Manager. Participates in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in the OR. Attends mandatory in-service meetings and continuing education for professional development. Provides technical support to OR staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
