Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to lead, train, and ensure clean, sterile instruments and supplies for every surgical case. You will supervise equipment operation, maintain records, and ensure a safe, high‑quality environment that supports patient care.

Responsibilities include inventory management, scheduling support, and guiding the Sterile Processing team to uphold quality standards and timely surgeries.

Qualifications

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician credentials (CSPDT/CST/CRCST) must be obtained within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, sterilize instruments and trays to ensure readiness for patient care.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment with detailed cycle records and safety checks.
• Prepare surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering instruments and supplies.
• Manage inventory and organize OR storage, coordinating with surgical team to keep surgeries on time.
• Lead and train the Sterile Processing team, sharing updates on new equipment and processes.
