Express Employment Professionals, partnering with a local smog shop in Shasta County, is seeking a Certified Automotive Smog Technician to perform inspections and repairs on a variety of vehicles. This full-time position requires a valid CA smog inspector and repair technician license, a clean driving record, and a trade school credential preferred.

You will diagnose smog-related issues and maintain accurate test records.

Express Employment is partnering with a local smog shop seeking a Certified Automotive Smog Technician.

About the Position

The smog technician position is full time with a well established Shasta County automotive/smog shop.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Perform Smog inspections and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot smog-related issues, recommend and perform appropriate repairs as well as drive/move customer vehicles after repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and test results.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Valid CA smog inspector and repair technician license required
• Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred
• Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred

Shift

This shop is open 6 days a week...must be flexible to possibly work on Saturdays

Compensation

$20.00 or higher depending on length of experience
