The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products when operating the restaurant. However, the franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Role Overview

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and fellow managers during a shift to guarantee high quality, service, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective action to meet standards, ensuring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to assist in a smooth transition. Shift Managers may also meet shift targets and support department goals.
