The Scrub Technician functions as a key member of the surgical team by preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies; maintaining a sterile environment; and assisting surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. This role also supports Sterile Processing functions, ensuring surgical instrumentation is properly cleaned, sterilized, stored, and distributed according to established standards.
