Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Montgomery County, PA for a Certified School Nurse. The Certified School Nurse will be responsible for providing direct healthcare services to students, ensuring compliance with school health regulations, administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and responding to emergencies. The role also involves conducting health assessments, maintaining health records, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania required
• Two years of successful experience as a school nurse preferred
• Valid CPR certification required
• Successful completion of training, testing, and/or additional requirements as stated by contract required
• Proficiency in the English language required
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation) required
• Must meet all federal, state, local, and contract requirements
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation
• Must be at least 18 years of age
