The Respiratory Therapist II is a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with knowledge of respiratory care and competence across all age groups served by the facility. The therapist conducts themselves professionally, courteously, and supports departmental and organizational goals by functioning as a team member within the respiratory care team, performing services within their scope of licensure. They embody the organization’s mission and values in providing hope and healing.
Education | Associate’s Degree in Cardiopulmonary Services or Respiratory Care from an accredited program. |
Licensure & Certifications | Resp-Lic: KY; BLS-CPR; ACLS (within 90 days); NRP (within 90 days) |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities | Effective interpersonal communication, critical thinking, time management, basic English proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic health records. |
Preferred Experience | No prior experience required; at least one year in respiratory critical care preferred. |
