The Respiratory Therapist II is a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with knowledge of respiratory care and age-specific competence for all age groups serviced by the facility. The incumbent conducts themselves professionally and courteously with patients, physicians, visitors, and healthcare staff. They support departmental productivity and organizational objectives by functioning as an integrated team member and performing services within their scope of licensure. They embody the organization’s mission and values in offering hope and healing to all.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Cardiopulmonary Services or Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications: KY Respiratory License, BLS-CPR, ACLS (within 90 days), NRP (within 90 days).
Skills & Abilities: Effective communication, critical thinking, time management, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic health records. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Experience: No prior experience required; 1+ year in critical care preferred.
$25.18 - $37.52/hour
