St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our established RT team delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients with breathing issues.

You will perform a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizers to ventilator management and oxygen therapies, ensuring high-quality care. Daily you will apply assessment skills and critical thinking to develop care plans, manage routine and emergent situations, and collaborate with the care team to

Formación

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in TX is required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies physician orders and documents all respiratory activity to ensure quality care.
• Cleans and assembles equipment and maintains supply stock levels.
• Educates patient, family, and team on procedures to ensure clear communication.
• Possesses lifesaving skills for all ages and maintains licensure.
• Collaborates with team to ensure timely, effective patient care.
• Fulfills continuing education requirements to maintain qualifications.
