Qualifications

• Completion of a respiratory care degree program.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in TX.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• BLS CPR certification (within 14 days).
• ACLS certification (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Administer therapy modalities including HHN, IPV, CPT, and aerosol therapies.
• Administer medical gas therapy such as oxygen and HeO2.
• Perform ventilation therapies and patient transport for diagnostics.
• Monitor patients with ABG puncture, capnography, and sleep apnea assessment.
• Document care accurately in the department system.
