MedCadre in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with breathing difficulties and cardiopulmonary conditions. You will assess respiratory function, administer treatments, and support patients in improving their breathing and overall health.

The role requires current state license, CRT credential, and appropriate certifications (BLS; ACLS/PALS as needed).

Formación

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Current state license as required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential or applicable certification.
• BLS certification; ACLS or PALS as required by the role.
• Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and medical equipment.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and breathing patterns.
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and respiratory medications.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report changes.
• Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Clean and maintain respiratory equipment according to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
