Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for the CV Respiratory Therapy department in Phoenix. You will set up, operate, and monitor ventilators, perform arterial blood gas analysis, and provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients on the general floor and in critical care areas.

The role requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program and NBRC credentials, with a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associates of a 2 year AMA approved Respiratory Care program (Required).
• Bachelors of a 4 year AMA approved Respiratory Care program (Preferred).
• Proven ability to operate and monitor respiratory care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and monitors mechanical ventilators as ordered.
• Performs arterial punctures and blood gas analyses.
• Dispenses pharmacological solutions as prescribed by physician.
• Performs basic pulmonary function testing and related diagnostic procedures.
• Documents therapy parameters and patient responses in the medical record.
