Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. Responsibilities include administering therapies, assessing respiratory status, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients.

Missouri licensure and NBRC certification are required; BLS/CPR certification is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Missouri Respiratory Care License.
• NBRC certification as RRT or CRT.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all respiratory therapy modalities.
• Administer prescribed therapies and assess patient respiratory status.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and home care needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
