Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• National Board for Respiratory Care registration.
• Must be licensed as a respiratory care practitioner by the State of Missouri.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and diagnostic tests as ordered by physicians.
• Clean and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Step up and take on supervisory duties in the absence of the Shift Supervisor by monitoring and delegating workload.
