Ideal candidates will hold a Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License, NBRC CRT/RRT credential, and current BLS/CPR certification, with prior ICU/acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Missouri license required to practice Respiratory Care.
• NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disorders.
• Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and medications according to physician orders.
• Manage oxygen therapy and airway support interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety standards.
• Support emergency respiratory care as needed.
