HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to assess respiratory needs and develop care plans for patients of all ages. You will evaluate respiratory needs and implement Respiratory Care Plans in collaboration with a dedicated team.

Competenze

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) within 6 months of hire.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.

Mansioni

• Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Must be self-directed in the absence of a full-time Team Leader.
• Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
• Set up/administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
