Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for PRN shifts. The role involves assessing respiratory status, delivering evidence-based therapies, and managing ventilation across care settings with access to advanced equipment and strong mentorship from RT leaders.

You will work within a collaborative team, educate patients and families, and help ensure safety, readiness, and infection control while supporting ongoing professional growth and flexible

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP-state license as Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• Associate Degree required.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen and medications.
• Manage ventilation and airway support (invasive and noninvasive).
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection prevention standards.
