HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to evaluate patient respiratory needs and develop the Respiratory Care Plan. You will work with an empowered team delivering compassionate care and advancing patient outcomes.

Requirements include Florida licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months, ABLS within 6 months, and completion of a respiratory care program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Formación

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree).
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) within 6 months of hire

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Must be self-directed in the absence of a full-time Team Leader.
• Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
• Set up/administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages

AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree)
