Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
• Compliance training for long-term care facilities provided by Interim.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients safely.
• Good communication and compassionate nature required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Support feeding and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and safety tasks.
• Take vitals and report changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, physicians, and aides.
• Observe patients and notify staff of care or behavioral concerns.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist residents and patients with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake
• Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety
• Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition
• Work as part of a care team that may include RNs, LPNs, physicians, and other aides
• Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns

What You Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Required compliance training to work in long-term care and assisted living (can be provided by Interim)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support patients safely
• Good communication skills and a dependable, compassionate nature
