Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Western Wisconsin is seeking a devoted Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care within local facilities in River Falls and surrounding communities.

You choose when and where you want to work with flexible scheduling, including per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
• Compliance training for long-term care (provided by Interim).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients safely.
• Good communication and dependable, compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and patients with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake.
• Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety.
• Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition.
• Work as part of a care team that may include RNs, LPNs, physicians, and other aides.
• Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns.
