Avera St Mary's Hospital in Pierre, SD, seeks a CRNA with RN licensure to provide anesthesia services on a day shift. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, handle pre-op assessments, and manage perioperative care with post-op follow-up. Weekend calls and post-call days off are part of the schedule.

Responsabilités

• Performs a pre-operative patient assessment.
• Determines a plan of care and communicates it to patient and family.
• Establishes and maintains venous access and airway.
• Inducts and monitors anesthesia and manages emergence.
• Transfers care to staff at procedure end and conducts post-op follow-up.
• Serves as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.

CME: $3,500 annually

The weekday shifts are 0630 to 1500

What You Will Do

• Performs a pre-operative patient assessment.
• Determines a plan of care and communicating the plan of care to patient and family.
• Establishes and maintains essential venous access.
• Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway.
• Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring.
• Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.
• Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.
• Performs post-operative follow-up for each case performed.
• Perform as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Upon Hire
