Job Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for various medical procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and the surgical team to create optimal anesthetic plans.
• Provide postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care for all procedures.
• Promote a healthy work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the growth of peers and the workplace.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide education and mentorship to staff, patients, and families.
• Support financial stewardship by utilizing resources cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses.
• At least 2 years of CRNA work experience (excluding RN or training).
• Clean malpractice/license history.
• Up-to-date on COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess an active Michigan nursing license and specialty license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless an approved exemption exists).
