Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified CRNA for a Full-Time Position near Chicago, IL.

Highlights

• At least one 24-hour shift per month must be on a Saturday or Sunday.
• Patient age demographic: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
• Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs; all nerve blocks are performed by MDs. We have fellowship-trained MDs for this.
• Preoperative assessments are mainly done by MDs unless it is a MAC case, where CRNAs can perform them.
• Trauma level II facility
• 10 ORs
• Coverage for Procedural Care Units. Two providers need general OR experience (no neuro or cardiac required); one provider preferably has outpatient endoscopy experience with MAC.
• Average of 4-5 cases per day during a 12-hour shift, primarily orthopedic and neuro cases.
• Neuro cases involve a team comprising surgeon, surgical assistant, scrub tech, and OR RN circulator.
• Orthopedic cases utilize two surgical assistants, depending on the case type.
• EMR system: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified NBCRNA (by start date)
• Illinois license (or willingness to obtain)

• COVID and Flu vaccines up to date (by start date)
• US-trained and boarded
