Job Summary

This role involves providing pre-anesthesia, anesthesia, and post-anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, in collaboration with the surgical team. Responsibilities include managing patient conditions, participating in preoperative evaluation, ensuring equipment readiness, delivering anesthesia care, performing post-anesthesia duties, managing emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in quality and safety initiatives, contribute to organizational meetings, assist in education and onboarding, and maintain professional development. Must provide age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice
  • Active CRNA certification by NBCRNA
  • Active DEA registration
  • If Illinois: Illinois Controlled Substance License
  • Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • No experience required

  • High clinical proficiency and decision-making skills

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform patient transfers
