Qualifications

• NBCRNA certification and active IL license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in the Procedural Care Unit managing 4-5 cases per shift.
• Handle mainly Orthopedic and Neurosurgical cases.

Skills

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Details

Location: New Lenox, IL, approximately 45 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Assignment Duration: As soon as credentialed, ongoing 13-week assignments.

Coverage Needs

• Weekdays: 7 a.m.-3 p.m., 7 a.m.-7 p.m., 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
• Weekends included

Job Responsibilities

• Procedural Care Unit coverage
• Manage approximately 4-5 cases per 12-hour shift, mainly Orthopedic and Neurosurgical cases
• Prefer candidates with general OR experience; outpatient endoscopy experience using MAC is a plus
• No blocks or lines placement required
• Trauma Level II facility with 10 ORs, using Cerner EMR
• Patient demographics: adolescent, adult, geriatric
• Exclusions: no cardiac, pediatric, major vascular, or OB cases
