Heritage Lab Services in Medina, OH is seeking a reliable, experienced Phlebotomist (Certified) for a part-time role. The schedule is Monday–Friday 5:45am–9:00am with compensation based on experience.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary draws, verify patient IDs, prepare specimens, follow SOPs, maintain logs and HIPAA confidentiality, and assist with basic billing and payments while upholding safety and quality standards across multiple facilities.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Phlebotomy Certification required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a lab or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, lab safety, compliance, and record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate billing entries.
• Follow SOPs to ensure sample quality and patient safety.
• Prepare specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Collect payments per corporate policies.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards across facilities.
