We have opportunities for Certified Phlebotomists in the laboratory at various locations in Rockingham, Alamance, Randolph, and Guilford Counties. Positions are available on full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules to offer flexibility. You can choose from a variety of shift options, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, 7 on 7 off, weekend-only positions, or weekday positions.

The Phlebotomist II collects and processes high-quality blood specimens, ensuring precise patient identification and providing accurate diagnostic results. This role involves working under direct supervision, maintaining supplies, and utilizing lab/hospital systems for documentation. The position plays a critical role in assisting physicians with accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.
Education: |
Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy program. |
Experience: |
Preferred: 6 months relevant medical or laboratory experience. |
Licensure/Certification: |
Required: BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA, and current Phlebotomy certification from an approved agency (ASCP, ASPT, NHA). Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Laboratory Assistant is acceptable. Current Licensed Advanced EMT/Paramedic or Certified MT/MLT (ASCP, AMT). |
