Job Responsibilities
  • Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
  • Administer oral solutions following training protocols.
  • Research test/client information, verify orders using lab technology systems, and communicate with clients as needed.
  • Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments following company policies.
  • Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient-facing duties such as inventory management, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email correspondence.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data.
  • Maintain accurate phlebotomy logs and other documentation.
  • Complete online and in-person training courses promptly.
  • Travel to additional doctor’s offices or Patient Service Center sites as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
  • One to three years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
