ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1445 Boston Post Rd, Guilford, CT. You will perform venipuncture, process specimens, verify demographics, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National certification or registration as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture following infection control processes.
• Identifies and labels specimens.
• Collects and verifies demographic information.
• Scan and index documents into the EHR.
• Schedule tests, treatments and follow up visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
