ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Guilford, CT location. The role supports vaccination and diagnostic specimen collection, requiring careful handling of specimens and precise data entry into the EHR.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4pm, in a patient-focused environment with strong teamwork. The position emphasizes phlebotomy skills, accuracy in labeling, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National certification or registration as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture following infection control procedures.
• Identify and label specimens correctly and verify demographic info.
• Collect and verify insurance information; update records in EHR.
• Schedule tests and follow-up visits as needed for patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation in EHR.
