Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to assist professional staff with triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions, and to support inventory and third-party receivables.

You will perform cashier duties, answer phones, learn our pharmacy management and POS systems, handle data entry and MTM support, and ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher.
• PTCB or other nationally recognized certification program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the triage, processing and delivery of prescriptions to patients.
• Run cash register and answer telephones as needed.
• Learn and operate the pharmacy management system and POS system; follow tasks with urgency.
