Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness services. You will assist the pharmacist, perform reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps, and help ensure accurate processing of prescriptions in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, and active national registration/certification or licensure as required.

Qualifications

• HIPAA regulations awareness and adherence.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or licensure as required by state laws.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications following state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data against records.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and tools.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in line with laws and company policies.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and report illegal activity.
