Job summary

Kroger is seeking a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists and deliver exceptional customer care in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while keeping patient information confidential and accurate under state and federal laws.

Responsibilities include supporting health and wellness initiatives, maintaining required licensure, and training clerks and technicians to ensure a smooth, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license as required
• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians
• Perform duties in compliance with HIPAA and store policies
• Contribute to health and wellness services and community health initiatives
