Qualifications

• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Accept new written prescription orders and telephoned refill requests at the discretion of the supervising pharmacist.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing and prepare labels.
• Submit insurance claims and assist with third-party insurance billing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate patient information and uphold HIPAA confidentiality.
