Hy-Vee is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications with accuracy and care. You will handle prescription processing, insurance billing, and customer service while maintaining strict confidentiality.

In this fast-paced retail pharmacy, you may administer vaccines where legally permitted and must maintain HIPAA compliance. A pre-employment drug screen is required and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified as a licensed pharmacy technician.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting at the pharmacy counter.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and insurance billing.
• Prepare and affix labels to prescription containers and prepare prescriptions for mailing or dispensing.
• Gather and maintain accurate patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Order, check in, and stock pharmacy supplies and log invoices as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' private medical information in accordance with HIPAA.
