Hy-Vee is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy department. You will assist pharmacists with prescription processing, insurance billing, and patient service while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified as a licensed technician through a national program; must maintain continuing education requirements to keep license active.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
• Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions and insurance billing tasks.
• Prepare and affix labels, file prescriptions, and maintain patient information securely.
• Order, stock, and log pharmacy supplies; assist with other store areas as needed.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law; ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality.
