Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and perform a range of pharmacy duties. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and help with cash registers while delivering a positive customer experience.

The role requires English fluency, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and prior retail experience. PTCB certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in practice of pharmacy and pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and enter patient/drug information.
• Support cash handling and assist customers at the OTC area.
• Assist with inventory management and shelving of pharmaceuticals.
• Coordinate with pharmacy staff and external providers as required.
