Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania – Elizabethtown Campus is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in dispensing medications and delivering pharmacy services to long term care facilities. You will also assist with inventory and billing as part of our mission to provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions and refills, maintaining patient profiles, labeling and unit-dose packaging, and supporting TCGRx automation.

Qualifications

• Registered with the PA State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Medical background or medical secretary experience preferred.
• Computer skills are helpful.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Use pharmacy software to process prescriptions, run reports, assist with billing, and manage inventory.
• Communicate messages accurately and promptly.
• Process prescriptions and refills under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter resident information and maintain demographics, medication profile, allergies, and third-party info.
• Label and pre-package unit-dose medications.
• Perform routine cycle fills with TCGRx automation.
• Process orders from distributors and verify against packing slips.
• Restock and maintain medication inventory.
• Assist finance coordinators with third-party plans.
• Maintain organized filing system for orders, prescriptions, invoices, recalls, and other documents.
• Deliver prescriptions to facilities in a timely manner.
• Answer pharmacy phones courteously.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Assist residents and pharmacists in OTC areas and provide pharmacist counseling.
