Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in long-term care settings. The role involves filling, dispensing, and IV compounding with accuracy, while adhering to regulatory rules and ensuring timely delivery to facilities.

Candidates must be a certified Pharmacy Technician in the working state, be available full time including weekends, and be prepared to handle calls, inventory, and medication returns as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician in the working state.
• Full-time availability, including weekends.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with input, filling and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Perform filling and IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed.
• Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities.
• Answer telephone calls, assist caller or route to Pharmacist when needed.
• Prepare medications for delivery to facilities per schedule.
• Assist walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department.
• Assist with ordering of medications from wholesalers and inventory management.
• Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management.
• Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification.
• Support corporate initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources.
