Mount Carmel Health System, a Mount Carmel East Hospital located in Columbus, OH, offers a certified pharmacy technician role. The evening shift (1430–2300) includes every 3rd weekend and involves sterile/non-sterile compounding, inventory and billing support, and use of automated technology as part of a pharmacist-supported team.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Description: *This position is located at Mount Carmel East Hospital *Evening shift position (1430 - 2300 with every 3rd weekend requirement) The Certified Pharmacy Tech, will assist the pharmacist in assuring timely and accurate provision of medications to patients. Technician responsibilities are performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. These functions may include unit dose dispensing, sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, medication packaging, inventory control, record keeping and billing, and use of equipment and automated technology. **Mount Carmel also offers an elevated Certified Pharmacy Tech – Sterile Compounding compensation program for all sterile compounding trained technicians, regardless of prior experience. Following completion of our standardized training program, all signed off technicians will be approved for elevated compensation**
