Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support operations in Plainfield, IN on the 1st shift. The role focuses on automation-driven prescription processing, inventory management, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced central fill environment.

The position requires an active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license with a PTCB or NHA national certification and a shift schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license with national certification (PTCB or NHA) required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain pharmacy systems and technology (inventory systems, automated counting machines) and ensure data accuracy and policy compliance.
• Manage and track medication inventory, perform cycle counts, restock, and monitor expiration dates.
• Prepare and file pharmacy documentation, reports, and communications; resolve discrepancies in records.
• Assist pharmacist with prescription fulfillment, stocking, and processing returns.
• Process orders in automated central fill, verify product size/strength, document dates and lot numbers, and label prescriptions.
• Maintain inventory integrity, monitor pill counters, dispose of hazardous waste, and manage recalls/expired stock.
