This on-site position requires meeting state requirements for pharmacy technicians and involves inventory control, prescription fulfillment, and documentation tasks. You will work under a pharmacist in a central fill setting, handling medication preparation, data entry, and regulatory compliance while maintaining efficiency

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician Career Diploma through Live Better U and Penn Foster

Responsibilities

• Maintains and tracks medication inventory by sorting, placing and storing freight in appropriate locations; restocking and replenishing medication, reporting low stock levels, ensuring stock rotation on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Supports facility with reporting and paperwork to ensure productivity and pharmaceutical integrity by entering and modifying pharmaceutical data on system and forms; processing and submitting paperwork; creating and maintaining documentation.
• Promotes and maintains the pharmacy's professional reputation and delivers pharmacy products and services to patients in accordance with local, state and federal laws and corporate policies via assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process.
• Ensures fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions under supervision of a pharmacist in an automated central fill pharmacy to maintain workflow; uses scanner to identify products, verifies size/strength, expiration dates, lot numbers, labeling and distribution in a fast-paced production environment.
