Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Holds an active national certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Process prescriptions including counting, bottling, labeling, and dosage recording.
• Enter prescription information into computer system and verify accuracy.
• Perform inventory control and restock medications and supplies.
• Answer phone calls and manage customer queries.
• Process insurance claims and manage payments.
• Maintain secure, compliant operations and clean environment.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
