Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if certified, coach other pharmacy staff.
3. Deliver a distinctive customer experience by engaging and resolving customer issues.
4. Perform pharmacy duties such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and managing workflow under supervision.
5. Handle prescription errors, maintain inventory, and support clinical services and community outreach.
6. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and adhere to company policies.
7. Complete training, earn and maintain PTCB certification, and develop pharmacy skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience, familiarity with Walgreens, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
