Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach other pharmacy staff if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver excellent customer service, greeting customers, resolving issues, and developing relationships with valuable customers.
4. Perform pharmacy duties such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and managing workflow under pharmacist supervision.
5. Report prescription errors and adhere to dispensing policies.
6. Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
7. Support inventory management, clinical services, and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
8. Complete training, maintain PTCB certification, and pursue ongoing education.
9. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible schedules.
• Preferred: experience in retail, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, store inventory knowledge, and PTCB certification.
