Certified Data Entry Pharmacy Technician (Remote – Chicago Area Only)

Location: Remote (Onsite training required – Greater Chicago area candidates only)

About the Opportunity

Our client, an independently owned Long-Term Care Pharmacy, is seeking a Certified Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This is a remote position following onsite training at their Crestwood, IL facility — approximately 20 miles from downtown Chicago. Candidates must reside in the Greater Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will play a critical role in ensuring prescription data is entered with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities include:

• Entering prescriptions into FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack systems
• Responding to resident and community inquiries via phone and email
• Maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois or Indiana
• National certification via PTCB or NHA
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare data entry or medical record management in a long-term or managed care setting
• Familiarity with FrameworkLTC / DocuTrack preferred
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
• Pay range: $21–$24/hr (based on experience)
