Job summary

Delaware Valley Community Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to dispense medications to patients and collect co-pays at our health center.

You will collaborate with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures, then work with staff to implement these programs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (experience considered).

What you will do:

The position is responsible for dispensing medications to and collecting co-pays from patients of the health center. This position also collaborates with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs, and then work with health center staff to operate these programs.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (will take experience into consideration).

Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues.

Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.

Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.

Proficiency in basic computer skills.
